  • Chemical composition of  Quartz is Silicon Dioxide (SiO2).
  • Common colors are white, black, purple, brown, black, green, red.
Engineered Quartz:
  • Engineered Quartz is a man-made product formed from 90 to 94 percent of Quartz and 6 to 10 percent of resins and pigments. This combination will have more strength.

Resin:
  • Resin is a "solid or highly viscous substance" of plant or synthetic origin that is typically convertible into Polymers.

  • Some major brands are:
    • CaesarStone
    • SileStone
    • Zodiaq
    • Cambria
    • TechniStone
    • VicoStone
